This page explains how you can request a change in your academic program at VinUni or transfer to another university.

Scope of Change Change major, degree, or college within VinUni Transfer to a different university
Types of Changes
  • Change of Major/Minor/Concentration
  • Change of Degree
  • Change of College
 Transfer to another university offering the same or related program
Eligibility
  • Not in 1st or final year (for degree/college change)
  • Meet new program’s admission criteria
  • Not under suspension or disciplinary action
  • Meet admission requirements of receiving university
  • Not in 1st or final year
  • Not under disciplinary warning
Frequency Max 1 program change per academic year Based on approval; no fixed frequency

  • Program Director
  • Dean/Vice Dean
  • Registrar
  • Provost
 – Registrar
– Program Director
– Dean/Vice Dean
– Provost (VinUni & receiving university)
Timeline Processed once per semester, effective next semester Based on timeline of both institutions
Credit Transfer Previously transferred credits may be re-assessed Receiving university will determine credit recognition
Document Submission Internal form & supporting docs via email Complete transfer request package submitted to Registrar
